I thought I should hand pick the best fall-winter manicure shots from the web. Did I nail it?
Many times I feel that an outfit is more put together if I have my manicure done. What are the fall-winter manicure trends that you tried? What’s not to miss – the new French, graphics and black&white combinations. But here is a selection of models captured by famous salons around the Globe.
WAH Nails London has a great geometric style on its Instagram feed. Painted in white and red, the mani looks modern on a long square nail because of the transparent detail. This negative space graphic model is done using their own red pen. It’s definitely something you can wear over the weekend at a mad party, not wise at a stiff business meeting.
How about an artsy vibe? The base is black or white and the shape is short and rounded – clearly an option for those who walk on the cool side of life! See the tutorial here.
Nailberry is a nail salon in South Kensington launched in 2011, promoting also its own brand of “cruelty free” products.
I was surprised to see that Paintbox New York doesn’t have a Facebook. They promote their work on Pinterest and Instagram. The pictures look amazing and I’ve read some good reviews. I chose this subtle flesh tone and orange manicure because it’s so feminine. And tasty 🙂 That color looks like an orange peel.
Can’t go wrong with black and white! The shape is classy, the style is minimal but not boring at all. Try it in a salon or just DIY when you’re in the mood. I like this last one by Rouge Nail Bar Bucharest because you can wear it from office to cocktail parties with masculine suits, black knits or velvet tuxedos to complete the ensemble.
