Julia Roberts’ collaboration with Calzedonia continues for this fall/winter 2017 season with a new TV commercial and imagery.
The Hollywood celebrity is the image of the Italian legwear company since 2014. This year’s video shows a very playful Julia wearing in-store polka dot tights. The customers instantly fall in love with her choice and try on the picture perfect mesh tights.
The TV ad is directed by the Californian actor and producer Grant Heslov, known for the movies Good Night, and Good Luck, True Lies and Argo.
“Grant and I have worked together several times. Traditionally, he is the producer not the director. It is nice for us to have a relationship that allows for an ease and shorthand on set when he is directing.”
The actress says also that what drives her to work with the brand is “the feeling of a family work environment”. On another note, Calzedonia just opened this year in March a store in New York, marking its entrance on the American market. Therefore, the Italian label comes closer to the fans across the Ocean.
The fall/winter collection offers a diverse range of tights made of cotton, cashmere or tulle. These pairs come with glitter, bows or lace inserts. The trendy socks are as well a must try – you can choose from cool details such as hearts, bows or dots.
Calzedonia was founded in 1987 in Verona, starting a new business model for selling hosiery and beachwear for women, men and children.
