Un bello holiday makeup trick per una vacanza a Roma
A city of charm and magic, a city with breathtaking places and with a story of thousands of years. But who has a thousand years to get ready to explore such a city?
The truth is that if you want to visit Rome you are on a rather tight schedule – so many places to see, so much to do, it seems like a lifetime won’t be enough to see all of its corners. Yet, you have to look pretty in such a fashionable, delightful city. This is how you can transform a soft day make-up in a glamorous night make-up.
- Soft day make-up
A natural, easy to achieve look is a must in any trip. All you have to do is choose your favourite soft brown shades and blend them in, then blend again, put on some mascara, a nude lipstick, a nice glow and you’re good to go!
For this holiday makeup I went for the most fitting palette – Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills in shades Warm Taupe as transition color, Cyprus Umber to define the crease, Burnt Orange with Antique Bronze to blend and Primavera on the lid. To accentuate my eyelash line, I used a Wycon pencil in shade 21 (Marrone Metallico).
To contour I used Too Faced’s Cocoa Contour kit. For a warm glow choose Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit by ABH in shade Forever Young. Because I want my lips to have both hydration and color, I apply the Clinique lipstick in shade 03.
- Glamorous night make-up
The sun is down, but the trip must continue and you have to shine on! And it’s not hard to do so, as the base is set. You can always go in and add a little bit more depth with shades like Red Ochre or Venetian Red. The next step is adding a winged eyeliner. My choice was Too Faced’s Sketch Marker in Black. But I wanted my look to shine through, so I put on a double glitter winged line with BHCosmetics’ Gold Glitter applied with eyelash glue.
At the end of the day, you will have rocked 2 looks with the effort of one. No one said that a holiday has to end at twilight, so this is how you go from Rome by day to Rome by night!
