The first edition of Always Forever Festival closed on a high note at Mogoșoaia Palace, where two days of live music, alternative culture and immersive experiences brought thousands of people into one of Bucharest’s most atmospheric settings.
Skepta opened the weekend with a high-energy set alongside Jme, turning “That’s Not Me” into one of the festival’s defining moments, while AJ Tracey added an unexpectedly local touch by trying traditional sarmale. Beyond the main stage, the event moved easily between music and lifestyle, with Jme settling into a post-show chess match, a curated food court, a dedicated children’s area and Hot Lagoon’s showcase of Romanian designers giving the festival a character that felt broader than a standard concert weekend.
The second day shifted the mood with a polished headline performance from British synth-pop duo Hurts. Theo Hutchcraft’s reminder that the band’s first music video, for “Sunday”, was filmed in Romania added a personal note to a set already charged with nostalgia and connection. Brooke Combe, Jacotene, Moonlight Breakfast, Golan and Maximilian completed the line-up, reinforcing the festival’s eclectic identity.
With its debut now behind it, Always Forever has already confirmed a 2027 return, with Super Early Bird passes available from 199 lei plus fees via iabilet.ro.
