The H&M Studio Collection for SS20 was launched internationally and here is what you need to know about the mad prints and flattering cuts.
In Romania, the event recreated the prints as a live experience which was pretty cool. From a rotating moon, to a 3-D sky and a small painting atelier, everything was inviting us to time travel. A sunset by a wide beautiful beach, a night in the desert? Where should we wear these pieces?
Well, the cotton hoodie with abstract watercolors is one of our favorites from the H&M Studio collection. A match for the satin trousers bearing the same motifs. The asymmetric pleated skirt will also be a hit! Easy to pair with a T-shirt and flip-flop sandals.
What we noticed immediately was the edginess of the styling and choice of materials: poplin, coated cotton, stretch satin, linen etc. “The muse is a free-spirited woman who is ready for anything: curious, courageous, looking to challenge herself and to explore the world,”, says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Director H&M.
