Hello there, beauties!
I have three words for you: mock shirts and collars. Or the best and most inexpensive ways to give life to your old shirts or seem to have more pieces than you really do.
Now let’s talk about them:
Collars, you know. You’ve probably had one when you were in school or your grandma knitted something for your fifth b-day, but you didn’t actually like or see their potential until now. They come in all shapes and colors and sizes, they are embellished or embroidered and they seem the answer to any fashionista’s prayer. You can wear them over a knit blouse, a t-shirt, a dress or even another shirt for a layering effect.
Mock shirts are newer to the fashion biz, so less used and seen. They usually go underneath a garment such as a dress or a blouse, giving you a more preppy look. On the other hand I got thinking the other day, why not wear them on the outside, over a simple white tee?
You can find great, versatile collars in high street shops such as ZARA or ASOS, while COS is the absolute heaven for mock shirts.
Get inspired below and start wearing them proudly. Them tell us how many new outfits you got with a 10 euro investment. You’re welcome!
The first two pieces are ZARA, them two from COS and the last 4 come from ASOS.
