The ultimate kiss is a theme that blends Art Nouveau elements with a modern design. “Hommage à Gustav Klimt” is painted in gold and vivid colors just like the portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer or the “Hope II” masterpieces.
At the beginning of the 1890s, Klimt met Emilie Louise Flöge, a fashion designer who became his muse and life partner. “The Kiss” represents their portraits done in oil paint with multiple layers of gold leaf, a beautiful detail that Freywille was convinced by to create this playful and geometric collection.
