Wet look – glossy eyes & lips for rainy days!

This may be the most requested beauty article in a long time. After I’ve posted the WET look I did for a photo shooting on Instagram, a lot of my followers asked me how I’ve created the damp effect on the eyes and face. In this article I will show you the products that I use for this kind of look and also some tips and tricks for the perfect WET look.

First of all, this kind of make-up it is only recommended for photo shootings because it’s not really long lasting. You have to constantly touch up some areas in order to look great. The key tip is not to use any powder, only cream products.

So I’ve started with a dewy finish foundation as a base – MAC Face&Body (here).

After applying the base, I have concealed only the areas that needed more coverage with my beloved ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Concealer (here).

With COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops in the shade ‘Sunkissed’, I’ve bronzed the skin without adding any texture, keeping the skin looking very dewy (here).

For a touch of flush on the cheeks, I choose GLOSSIER Cloud Paint in the shade ‘Dusk’ (here).

That glow couldn’t be anything else than ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Liquid Glow in the shade ‘Perla’, dabbed with my fingers (here).

Brush the eyebrows with GLOSSIER Boy Brow for that bushy effect (here).

And now, for the most requested part, the GLOSSY eyelids, I started by applying a thin layer of the Cover FX liquid bronzer (mentioned above) following with the white-translucent shade named ‘Lustre’ from ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Contour Cream Kit in the shade ‘Fair’ (here). The glossy shade needs to be touched up from time to time in order not to crease at all.

On the lips I’ve used ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Lip Gloss in the shade ‘Gilded’ for a touch of gold (here)

Add your favourite mascara and that’s it!

Finally, I would love to see some recreations of this look, so if you do, tag me on Instagram @claudianeacsu or #claudiaxhipboulevard so that I can see the amazing pics!

Keep up with my looks and interact with me  here or here.

Xoxo, Claudia!
