Coffee table dilemma – solved!
Most of the coolest things are born out of necessity and these deco articles make no exception. Every time I have a dilemma, I assume I’m not the only one so my research for sure can be useful to many of you. Today I am stylishly covering the coffee table subject from the decoration point of view.
OK, you bought a dream piece of furniture but how will it finally look in the livingroom landscape? I think it’s worth giving the coffee table a little more attention considering the fact you are using it everyday for its main purpose, like the name says [dooh], or for reading or working.
Whether you inherited it or you found it at an antiques fair, a wooden chest is great for adding character to a livingroom. Place a vintage Seltzer bottle and a candlestick you like on top to complete the design.
If you prefer an ottoman in front of the couch, like this beautiful grey piece below, then give it a modern twist by placing a Plexiglas tray on top. Add a few magazines and decorative glasses. Use a fluffy rug on the floor so the space looks more put together.
This retro style is amazing, isn’t it? Look at those tables! You can rarely find something like that but congratulations if you found one or diy-d it! This oval coffee table needs just a book and a tea set.
This kind of coffee table is often found in furniture stores so maybe you have something like this at home. The black metallic frame suits an industrial interior design but also a cosy, classy room for an interesting mix. I liked the idea of placing braided baskets underneath where you can store blankets or small pillows.
This wood slice and hairpin design may be my favorite! The metal and wood mix is not only trendy but also versatile. If you have a similar one in your day room match it with a weird-shaped vase and green branches. A carpet or not on the floor? Yes if you want to make more contrast with the table. Therefor, pastels are a notable choice.
