HOLOGRAPHIC MAKE-UP for an unforgettable night.
This is the perfect time when you can try one of the biggest trends of this year: metallic silver eyeshadow, it’s easier than you think!
I decided to pair this eye look with two lip options: dark burgundy and pinky nude. Just choose your favourite!
As usual, starting with the eyes, I’ve used only three eyeshadows for this look. After priming the eyes, with a smaller blending brush, I have carefully blended the shade “Warm Taupe” from the Modern Renaissance Palette by ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS slightly above the crease, almost to create the illusion of a new one. Using the shade ‘Tempera’ from the same palette, I’ve cleaned up the brow bone and inner corners for a clean appearance. Get the palette here.
For the metallic silver, the main focus of this look, I chose ‘Liberty’ Eyeshadow from COLOURPOP. After presing it on the lid with my finger, I took a slim concealer brush to create the soft cut-crease effect. Find the eyeshadow here.
I finished off the eyes with a winged liner using my trusty INGLOT Gel Liner #77, also applied on the waterline and smudged a little bit on the lower lash line. Details here.
*For doll – eyes effect, I’ve applied a pair of false lashes by RED CHERRY, no. 68. Find them here.
For an extra sparkle, I placed two little silver stars in the center of the lower lash line.
Eyes are done. Let’s move on to the face!
After applying your favourite foundation, warm up the skin with a little bit of TOO FACED Chocolate Soleil. Find it here.
I didn’t really want to use a blush, so instead, I’ve added a bit of ‘Butterscotch’ shade from ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS ‘Sweets’ Glow Kit, just to make the transition between the bronzer and the illuminator. Details here.
That amazing pinky highlight is no other than MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Light Fusion in the shade ’01 Golden Pink’. Get it here.
Now, for the fun part, the lips – I’ve initially thought to pair this look with a dark, vampy slightly metallic shade, so I chose ‘Honolulu’ OFRA Liquid Lipstick. Get it here.
But because I can rarely skip a perfect nude pout, I’ve also tried ‘Fleshpot’ Lipstick from MAC. Details here.
