Two easy ways that can help anyone to achive a glam look in less than 10 minutes!
Ideal for those moments when you have to be somewhere for a date or a meeting after a long day full of work and you have less than 15 minutes to get out of that door, in this article I will show you the perfect products & some easy steps that anyone can follow to achieve a nighttime make-up look from a daytime one.
WAY #1 THE RED (OR COLORFUL) LIPSTICK
The easiest method that can get you a statement look is, of course, adding a red, burgundy or bright colored lipstick. For that perfect pout, my trick is to take a bit of concealer on a flat brush to correct & perfect the lines of the lips, after you apply your favorite lipstick. It makes such a difference, you have to try this out! I will show you here my favorite three Lipstick options:
1.RED: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick ‘Sarafine’ – the most seductive red lipstick I’ve ever wore, this color definitely makes you feel sexy in a ladylike way. It has a matte finish and it’s very longwearing, you have to remove it with oil based make-up remover. Details here.
2.BURGUNDY: MAC Lipstick ‘Diva’ – this is also a matte finish, but a more comfortable one because it’s a regular lipstick, not a liquid one. I chose this shade because it’s the perfect Burgundy in my opinion, great color and intensity. Details here.
3.BRIGHT COLOR: Too Faced CRÈME Lipstick ‘Juicy Mellon’ – You have a lot of options when it comes to bright colors, whether you choose a bright matte finish lipstick, a satin shade or a glossy one like this. This lipstick has a very creamy texture, but it’s very pigmented at the same time. Details here.
WAY #2 THE EYELINER – Depending on your mood, draw a soft line of matte black eyeliner or try some fierce wings. The first trick applies here as well. For those perfect sharp lines, take your flat brush with a bit of concealer to correct & perfect your wings, it will look like you spent a lot of time on that look, even if it actually took you 5 – 7 minutes.
In order to choose the perfect Black Eyeliner, you have to try out different types until you find the one that matches your preference. I will show you two of my favorites that I think are easy to work with and anyone can get the perfect Cat Eye with:
1. MAC Fluidline ‘Black Track’ – this one is cool because you can also add it to the waterline, it’s very smooth and creamy, you apply it with an eyeliner brush and it dries matte and waterproof. Details here.
2. MELKIOR Liquid Eyeliner ‘Black’ – This one is not waterproof, but it’s long wearing and it stays for a pretty long time without smudging, it’s definitely easier to remove, which is a plus if you are lazy. The color (Black) is very intense, it dries completely matte and it has a very fine tip for sharp looking wings. Details here.
