Magmatik – a concept store dedicated to authentic objects for the home – has become the exclusive distributor of Versace Rosenthal in Romania. The announcement places their address firmly among the country’s leading addresses for collectible design, decorative arts and refined table culture.

To mark the occasion, Magmatik introduces the newest creations from the celebrated Versace X Rosenthal collaboration, alongside iconic re-editions that honour more than three decades of shared history between German porcelain craftsmanship and the unmistakable visual language of Versace.

First launched in 1992 under the creative direction of Gianni Versace, the Rosenthal X Versace partnership made its debut with the now legendary “Medusa” collection in 1993. Since then, it has evolved into one of the most recognisable dialogues between fashion and interior design, transforming porcelain into a medium of theatrical beauty. Today, under Donatella Versace, the collections continue to translate the house’s signature codes into sculptural home objects, where opulence, mythology and architectural references meet with striking precision.

Among the highlights now available at Magmatik are three collections that turn dining into a richly layered experience. Le Jardin de Versace – 30th Anniversary Collection revisits the exuberance of French palace gardens through romantic florals, delicate butterflies, vivid red cherries and gleaming gold accents, expanding into statement plates, decorative vessels, scented candles and etched glassware. Palazzo N°12 offers a more architectural mood, drawing on the façade of the Versace headquarters on Via Gesù 12 in Milano through soft pastel tones and stylised graphic motifs. La Coupe des Dieux, meanwhile, embraces the drama of Magna Grecia mythology and Versace baroque, with golden chalices, sculptural lions and the iconic Medusa animating dining, tea and coffee sets as well as decorative vases and platters.

The exclusive arrival of Versace Rosenthal further strengthens Magmatik’s carefully curated universe, which includes Lalique, Hermès, Christofle, Rosenthal, Sambonet, Rivolta Carmigniani, Villeroy & Boch, Dolce &Gabbana and GioBagnara, as well as exclusive names in Romania such as Lalique, Hermès, Christofle, Ercuis, Raynaud and Rivolta Carmigniani. Together, they shape a destination where home luxury is approached not as decoration, but as a cultivated way of living.
